GARY J. SIMPSON

Gary has a strong background in the conduct of feasibility/design and monitoring and evaluation studies targeting Land Administration and Management, Institutional Strengthening and Governance and Community & Regional Development Planning. He has extensive experience in Social and Economic Impact Assessment in the mining and petroleum sector focusing on the development of agreements and sustainable development plans between land owner/indigenous communities, national and sub-national levels of government, resource developers and civil society groups. In 1984 he was awarded a PhD in Geography at the Australian National University in Canberra.
